Welcome to my Photo Pages area! This is a very special area! I am an adoptee who was fortunate enough to have a biological family that searched for and found me! This photo site includes some photos and comments about my adopted family, as well as my biological family. I have also included a special memorial. (These photos are quite old - like me! Sorry for the quality. I hope you can see at least some of the detail. These pictures were taken when I was a month old, at the Iowa City, Iowa hospital, in 1949. The woman you see in some of the photos was a ward nurse. I'm not sure what that shadow is in the second picture. Because these photos are black and white and so old, attempting to digitally correct them was not very successful. They are actually better than the originals, though! Again, I apologize for the quality. |

A footnote: I was 45 years old when I first saw these baby pictures at the first meeting of my brother, Henry, and me. It was really startling to see these! I had never considered myself as a baby once, because there had not been any "proof" of that fact - until now! I guess I had thought of myself as a "non-baby!" |
