"Everything Is Beautiful"
(Written by Ray Stevens)

Jesus loves the little children, all the little children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight.
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Everything is beautiful in its own way.
Like a starry summer night or a snow-covered winter's day.
Everybody's beautiful in their own way.
Under God's heaven, the world's gonna find a way.

There is none so blind as he who will not see.
We must not close our minds, we must let our thought be free.
For every hour that passes by, you know the world gets a little bit older.
It's time to realize that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Everything is beautiful in its own way.
Like a starry summer night or a snow-covered winter's day.
Ah, sing it children!
Everybody's beautiful in their own way.
Under God's heaven, the world's gonna find a way.

We shouldn't care about the length of his hair or the color of his skin.
Don't worry about what shows from without, but the love that lives within.
We're gonna get it all together now and everything gonna work out fine.
Just take a little time to look on the good side my friend,
And straighten it out in your mind

Everything is beautiful in its own way.
Like a starry summer night or a snow-covered winter's day.
Everybody's beautiful in their own way.
Under God's heaven, the world's gonna find a way.

As ludicrous as it may sound to some, we now believe that we will someday see Maxy again in heaven.  I have included some scripture references from a book, "Will I See Fido in Heaven?", written by Mary Buddemeyer-Porter.  These scripture references to God's lesser creatures and their eternal destination have given us great hope.

Some scripture references from Mary Buddemeyer-
Porter's book, "Will I See Fido in Heaven?"

(I have underlined the words that have particularly given us the hope of seeing Maxy again.)

Romans 8: 1822:     "Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later.  For all creation is waiting patiently and hopefully for that future day when God will resurrect his children.  For on that day thorns and thistles, sin, death, and decaythe things that overcame the world against its will at God's commandwill all disappear, and the world around us will share in the glorious freedom from sin which God's children enjoy For we know that even the things of nature, like animals and plants, suffer in sickness and death as they await this great event."  (The Living Bible)

Romans 8: 2122:     "That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption (and gain an entrance) into the glorious freedom of God's children.  We know that the whole creation (of irrational creatures) has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now."  (Amplified Bible)

Job 12:610:              ".... He will supply your every need anyway!  Who doesn't know that the Lord does things like that?  Ask the dumbest beasthe knows that it is so; ask the birdsthey will tell you; or let the earth teach you, or the fish of the sea.  For the soul of every living thing is in the hand of God, and the breath of all mankind."  (The Living Bible)

Psalm 148: 513:       "Let everything he has made give praise to him.  For he issued his command, and they came into being; he established them forever and forever. His orders will never be revoked.  And praise him down here on earth, you creatures of the ocean depths.  Let fire and hail, snow, rain, wind, and weather, all obey.  Let the mountains and hills, the fruit trees and cedars, the wild animals and cattle, the snakes and birds, the kings and all the people with their rulers and their judges, young men and maidens, old men and children–all praise the Lord together.  For he alone is worthy.  His glory is far greater than all of earth and heaven."  (The Living Bible)

Isaiah 11: 69:           "The cows will graze among bears; cubs and calves will lie down together, and lions will eat grass like the cows.  Babies will crawl safely among poisonous snakes, and a little child who puts his hand in a nest of deadly adders will pull it out unharmed.  Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, for as the waters fill the sea, so shall the earth be full of the knowledge of the Lord(The Living Bible)

Revelation 5: 11–13: "And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."  (King James Version)

"Do Dogs Go to Heaven?"
(By Dan Atchison)
(Courtesy of
RainbowsBridge.com)

My little puppy passed away, no more to breathe a sound
I held him for the last time, then entombed him in the ground.
Day and night I wept so much, in tears I thought I'd drown.
I searched my soul for comfort, but no peace therein was found.

In great despair, I hit my knees and then began to pray.
"Father, will I ever see my dog again someday?"
I raised my eyes and saw an angel standing near a gate.
I sensed an inner peace I'd never felt before that day.

The angel smiled and said to me, "Oh man of little faith!
God sees every bird that falls, He knows your puppy's fate.
I have met your little dog, I saw him pass my way.
Your precious dog is still alive, he just walked through this gate.

Paradise is lovelier than you can comprehend.
No pain or grief, no tears or fears, and life will have no end.
God gave to man His only Son, to cover all his sins.
So why would God withhold from you, your pure and loving friend?"

The angel took me by the hand and said, "Now come with me.
A glimpse of paradise I'll give to you so you can see."
Through the gate and o'er the Rainbow Bridge we did proceed.
Through green valleys filled with flowers, rolling hills and trees.

"Wow! So this is paradise!" The place was filled with joy.
I saw my puppy playing there, with dogs and cats and toys.
He also had some doggie treats, and food that he enjoyed.
He'd made a lot of new friends there, including girls and boys.

Then I saw a child come near and hug my little mate.
She said to him, "I love you so," and kissed him on the face.
The angel said, "The child just crossed the Rainbow Bridge today.
Now she needs a little friend, to love and help her play.

God's love for her would be enough, in that make no mistake.
But in His love, He knew full well the child would want a mate.
This is why God called your dog unto this splendid place.
God's entrusted her with him, 'til you pass through the gate.

I pleaded, "May I hug them both?!" The angel answered, "No!
You'd violate a sacred site, and now it's time to go."
He led me back across the bridge and through the gate to home.
He left me there with new-found hope and peace within my soul.

If someone ever asks what happens to a dog that dies,
Just give a gentle smile of joy and look them in the eye.
Take their hand and comfort them and tell them not to cry.
For dogs don't die, they simply cross a bridge to paradise.

BEYOND THE RAINBOW

(Letter from Maxy to his parents)

Dear Family,

As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free,
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful
lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see,
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!

My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new.
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright -
That this place is truly wonderful! Then a bright Glow pierced the night.

'Twas the glow of many candles shining bright and strong and bold.
And I knew then that it held your love, in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.

So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart.
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with heart.

Love, Maxy
